In-Store Policies


We strive to ensure that all the animals we sell are in good health prior to releasing them to their new homes. With this in mind, we have developed a guarantee that endeavors to be fair to all parties, while keeping the best interest of the pet in mind.

  • Aquatics and Amphibians: 1 day
  • Reptiles: 4 days
  • Birds:ย 4 days
  • All other animals:ย 4 days
  • Rock/Coral: None

In all cases the customer must provide a copy of their receipt, along with the animal or fish in question, and a photo of the animals living condition in order to receive store credit. For fish claims, a separate water sample that tests โ€œacceptableโ€ is required; otherwise we will happily coach on how to remedy problem areas.

If there are any signs or symptoms of distress, please notify us as soon as possible so that we may correct the issue prior to it becoming more serious. We would much prefer that your pet be able to return, healthy, to its home with you.

We reserve the right to modify, change, or rescind this guarantee at any time, in our sole discretion, if we feel it is being abused, or if we feel it is in the best interest of the animal(s).


Receipts are valid for 30 days from date of purchase. Merchandise must be unopened to receive a full refund. If purchase is by cash you will receive cash back. Purchases by credit card will be placed back on credit card. All other forms of payment will be returned in store credit (including check).
